WHERE DOES THE TERM PSYCHONAUTE COME FROM?
Psychonaut is a word based on Greek roots that translate to "navigator of the 'spirit". In English, it is a mixture of the prefix "psycho-", used to describe mental processes or practices such as psychology, and terms such as "astronaut", connoting being in an altered state of consciousness or spiritual transcendence.
